Get up close with grizzly bears and witness the endangered snow leopard, an exotic predator. Time your visit to catch feeding times and watch penguins or sea lions snatch fish out of the air or water. The acrobatic skills of the sea lions as they dive and swim are absolutely mesmerizing!
The Central Park Zoo may be small in size (6.5 acres) but it's packed with fun. This intimate attraction allows you to get up close and personal with a variety of wildlife, which is why it inspired the animated film Madagascar. From snow leopards and bears to sea lions, it's pretty wild here!
Located in Central Park, just off 5th Ave, this charming, compact zoo features three distinct environments.
The Polar Circle is home to four species of penguins and some tufted puffins. Next door, sea lions showcase their aquatic acrobatics.
For a warmer experience, visit the Tropic Zone, where tree snakes, ruffed lemurs, and dart frogs bring the canopy to life.
The Temperate Territory features delightful animals from Asia, such as red pandas and snow monkeys.
